Installed on my 77 Ford F100 302 with no problems. The power valve body (I always called it) on the bottom was too high/low and got into the intake so I had to remove the short circuit from my existing crappy 2bbl to get it working. you will understand when you see it or it will happen to you. It's okay as long as you have a carburetor with the right jet on hand. Without this attachment, you might find yourself in a difficult position. A hole in the flange was a bit too small and flashed inside or maybe MM from my bolt pattern. Just a tiny drop. Just enough that when I tried to lower him over the stilettos, he wanted to secure himself. I took a rubber mallet and GENTLY tapped the carburetor so it fell off. I moved it to make sure it was loose so I could get a secure seal. It's okay, but if you try to force it manually I can see it getting stuck and how. Maybe even the ear is broken. Just be careful and alert. really close as it was. The initial air gap was very close to correcting (flap almost closed). Turned the key and the arrow worked. for a while which was probably all carb cleaner which i blasted into all the holes to remove all the dirt and grime and packaging/manufacturing oil. After 3-4 minutes, the hissing stopped and the engine began to idle smoothly. When the engine was warm enough I started it a couple of times and there was no jerking at all. Driven a lot (not on the road yet) and it was really good. Nice and responsive. I haven't adjusted the air/fuel mixture yet as you really have to drive to get it. It's very close to where this carb was factory fitted and pretty much my rule of thumb for establishing a starting point for one of these 2150 2bbl. I still have a hot wire to do for the throttle body so that's basically all that's left. By the way, that's not one of them. In my experience, 302s aren't picky, so it doesn't bother me that much. It's amazing what a good carburettor can do to a car. You can swear you have timing or valving problems, but it's actually a carburetor. So far, I am very satisfied. Update almost daily after a month of truck driving with this carburettor. Fur. I am deducting one star to 3 stars. Acceleration and something like sustained steady stumbling or tumbling when accelerating slightly, e.g. B. when driving up a small hill. As always in such situations, everything works perfectly. I've sprayed starter fluid around the carb checking for air leaks, I've added new electronics and vacuum lines all over the place so I'm pretty sure it's the carb. It's possible to drive in grandpa mode, but the above is a bit annoying.
