Works better than I expected, excellent quality for $

Something between 2100 and 2150. Characteristics of both. Good casting quality, good fit, tight waves. Attached to an AMC 258 in a Cj5 with a later 2bbl manifold and adapter plate. Came out of the box, needed very little adjustment. Very happy with it. At this price I expected something much, much worse than what I got. Trying to get rid of the old battered crankcase on your Jeep is the way to go. Fits, works, and you don't have to deal with that ugly Weber air filter. Looking at the gasketsโ€ฆ

Easy replacement, works well

The old stock carburetor on my 1979 Ford F-150 400 engine was in dire need of repair. It had several leaks and worked very poorly. I considered rebuilding it to last until the next rebuild, but after poking around parts stores to find the right custom repair kit, which should cost at least $50, I decided to look for a replacement instead to search. I was skeptical when I found this one, but after reading the reviews I pulled the trigger. Delivered quickly and in good condition. Some portsโ€ฆ

Good with some modifications

I needed a carburetor to get my Scout back on the road. This is the one I chose. Looks well built but is a little different than a standard Motorcraft carburetor. The power valve is lower than any Motorcraft bike I've owned. Luckily I used a phenolic gasket under the carb which gave it enough room. accelerator pump - longer version; I had to adjust the Scouts thermostat lever and housing a bit with a grinder and also bend the pump linkage to make it work. When I installed it it worked fineโ€ฆ

Pros
  • One year test
Cons
  • Not bad

Ronald Reagan once said Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall, and that's what the Chinese (or anyone else designed)) did it with this carburetor: They broke down the wall of patent protection and/or prejudice to create the best 2-barrel carburetor money can spend. One that incorporates the best features of both the 2100 and 2150 without having to worry about breaking someone else's design as it is entirely their own design I think based on other reviews. My Jeep CJ7 has never performed betterโ€ฆ

Attachment - 90 Jeep Grand Wagoneer 360 V8

If you want a 2150 that just bolts on - adjust the idle screws and then go - this carb isn't the one you need on the Jeep 360 app, it's just 2100 with small jets. However, it can be used for larger engines, but you need to do a few things first. #1 You need to remove the cap - remove the float - remove the two jets and drill out. Your old injectors from your original carburetor will not screw into this carburetor. The themes look very similar, but so different that they don't work. Out of theโ€ฆ

Works great so far on my 1973 Jeep Commando with an AMC 304 V8!

I was a bit reluctant to buy a cheap faux carburetor because I figured I should put a $500 Holly on my 1973 Jeep Commando instead (I like/try to get an American one whenever possible to buy). So I first bought a Holley 350 Performance double-barreled rifle (assuming it's still made in the USA, I wish it was $500) with a Morris 4x4 manual choke. Expecting to get a shipping notification from Morris about a day later, a week passed before I called customer service. They then told me that evenโ€ฆ

Replacement parts seem to be well made

Installed on my 77 Ford F100 302 with no problems. The power valve body (I always called it) on the bottom was too high/low and got into the intake so I had to remove the short circuit from my existing crappy 2bbl to get it working. you will understand when you see it or it will happen to you. It's okay as long as you have a carburetor with the right jet on hand. Without this attachment, you might find yourself in a difficult position. A hole in the flange was a bit too small and flashed inside

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Actually I don't like it everything is fine
