I have been using MikroTik Groove products on my own boats as well as many other customers' and customers' boats for over 3 years. This is a great device to place outside on an arch or spreader and will capture a remote WiFi signal for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. It is one of the few products on the market that supports both 5GHz and 2.4GHz, which is especially important in marinas where 2.4GHz is congested and almost never used. Couple this with an internal router and you've got a great on-board network. MikroTik software can be difficult to set up, but their products are very reliable, inexpensive, and extremely effective.
