I have had many pot and pan sets and this is by far the best I have ever had. I was a chef for 30 years, before that a chef. After a year all I can say is the scratches on the outside. Of course, I take great care of my instruments. I just clean up with soap and water and keep the box protectors and always put them back with the paper towels when storing. I only use high quality cookware like OXO and Calphalon. Excellent investment. Oh, it is recommended to adjust the cooking methods because they heat up faster and keep the heat longer.
