Fits perfectly. I have a 74 cj5 that the previous owner put an old tank in as an extra tank and the filler neck was badly cracked. This one looked too big but it just fits very snugly as it should. It's very difficult to get in there, but with a little effort it will fit. I am very satisfied, looks much better than the old cracked one.
