I was concerned at first, it seemed as good as my laptop's built in camera. I then downloaded the Logitech Capture software and was able to power on and set up the HD. It gives you a link to it in the instructions but never says you need to download it to get full functionality. The program also updated my firmware. From my programs like zoom etc i need to open logitech capture software first then i can open zoom or skype etc but i need to select logi capture camera and NOT logitech streaming camera because if you want a streaming - Select camera, none of your settings are available. it's just the default settings. Anyway, once I open both apps and select the Logi Capture camera, all my settings are there, you can zoom in, use the zoom function to move them around without moving the physical camera, etc. This allowed me to zoom in enough for my Elgato green screen -Popup and stay in line. Overall I'm very happy with it, but I wish you could lock the default camera settings without running any software in the background. You might also think that it's in HD mode by default. He looks good in white.
