Great for extra hood clearance
This 8089 intake for my Edelbrock Performer 500cfm 4bbl carburetor along with a 2" tall Edelbrock 1218 air cleaner element gave me the clearance I needed under the hood after installing the Performer intake manifold (which is taller than the stock manifold ).
