We have several air purifiers in our house and I sometimes doubt they do anything at all other than collect some dust that passes through the filters. I ordered it for a specific purpose. In my garage we noticed excessive moisture and what I suspect could be mold. I immediately added a desiccant and after seeing the amount of water it could remove I knew I should have added a desiccant many years ago. We have one on the other side - a finished basement - but I never thought of building it into the garage. Anyway I used a mold and mildew remover which worked great but I really don't know what's on the other side. I noticed the cinder block area. So I added this to help. If it can remove acid from the air (read the literature) and other means, it can only help in that area - if there are mold spores left it can help to remove them. When we've used it here for a while we'll take it upstairs to the living room. This is a fantastic product. Totally silent, high-performance filters that rarely need to be changed and two UV lamps to disinfect everything that enters the machine in addition to the machine itself. It was packaged well, it had good literature, and I'm impressed and satisfied because I think it's working. Of course, it's hard to say if it really works, but it looks like it does. And it won't hurt. This really is a top notch cleaner. I hope he keeps what he promises.
