Review on 💪 Powerful Drain Unblocker: Cobra Products 331 Drain Small Bladder by Epickson Palma

I bought this to flush a clogged skimmer for my pool. It was a straight shot opening the lid on my pool pump and putting the device in place. The pipes are PVC and are a standard pool size, I think around 2 inches inside diameter. I think the size ratio was good as this product was rated 1-2 inches. I have a science degree and am pretty handy but I'm not cocky so I read the entire package and watched the product video online. I was still nervous as hell about PVC going to tear so I decided to test the device on a pool drain made with the exact same pool PVC pipes. First impression was that the quality of the rubber before use is very stiff and inflexible2. We opened the water valve with extreme caution, but soon found that the variable pressure did not cause the device to expand on its own. I found this a bit strange as luckily I have very high water pressure and the hole at the top is very small3. As a little water accumulated in the drain, there was enough back pressure to expand the rubber.4. Once launched, it quickly became huge! It went so fast it scared the shit out of me and we immediately shut off the water. It tended to slip back out of the tube! No matter how we switched the water and despite the fact that I held it firmly in place, it started to break and slide back on inflation. We tested this on a very simple stock. it scared me to death because I always thought it was going to explode! Once I was sure it was safe for us to use, we went ahead and stuck it in the pool installation. We didn't get good results. A very small amount of water went through the skimmer, but the system was actually so pressurized it wouldn't flow out of my faucet! After a small leak depressurized I was able to remove the balloon and it burst. First real use of the clog and it exploded. It's weird that it can break and still hold pressure, so I'm wondering if it wasn't improperly expanded to block its own exit. I don't know how as it was a straight pipe. Garbage. You'll probably need to use a different brand of gum. It takes too much pressure to expand and then it just explodes!
