Suitable for dogs with abdominal wounds! Our 80+ pound pup pierced his side with a tractor scraper. This gamgee's 12-inch width is just right for its surgical site, which has drainage. This was an unusual occasion for our very active and sporty puppy. We have a fence to protect our animals and they are not allowed to play outside when we are driving the tractor. I would buy it again if we need more during his recovery.
