Poor design doesn't work with many E11 bulbs which is the main purpose. The center brass rivet has a notch in the middle, right where the bulb's small electrode should land, but can't make good contact because the rivet is hollow there. This is a major design flaw on the part of the manufacturer - there should be solid brass in the center, as is the case with a spade terminal. Unfortunately I'm having trouble finding any other product available - even if websites on the internet show a different design, like the one on ledlight.com, it's the same damn thing. (The low-quality, centralized supply from China keeps hurting consumers. But China would probably rather make money by selling us the latest new bulbs instead, while regulators here are encouraging the same.) Someone has to make the best E26/E27/ import E11 adapter. .
