Review on ๐Ÿšฐ Optimized PUREPLUS Tankless Reverse Osmosis Filtration System by Jimmie Gebrehiwot

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is an amazing filtration system, but where are the replacement filters?

I'm starting with a problem I have. It's not the system itself, but when you get it, buying replacement filters becomes an inevitable situation. The instruction manual on the Amazon page lists square codes to buy but they are "currently unavailable". Entering an ASIN or searching for this system and filtering will return no results. The company has its own website, but only serves refrigerator filters. The filters are valid for one year or two years for each filter. I have time until that day comes, but the fact that it hasn't come worries me. I don't want this system to be limited only by the expiration date of the filters that come with it. It's too much hassle and setup for something like this. So I'm only posting this now if you want to wait for the company to have replacement filters ready. Otherwise it's a really great system. So I give 5 stars based on the product you will receive. It was relatively easy to set up, but you still need to know what happens when you install it yourself. With my dad's help it took me about 45 minutes. I had to drill holes in the side cabinet to route the power cord to the outlet. Getting the hoses in the right places under the sink was fairly easy and the instructions were concise and clear. All parts needed to assemble the injectors so that nothing leaks and everything is tight. A clear hole to the right of my faucet also made it easy to install. After connecting to the filter system, the machine turned on and I turned the handle down and water poured out. The numbers flashed on the digital display, indicating their quality. It states that it must run for 30 minutes to allow the water to rinse and clean the filters well enough to reach the saturation point where consistent water quality is achieved. I have several pH strips to test my water. It says about 5 on the faucet and 7 on the filter system, so it's definitely going to be cleaner and closer to lye. The water I usually use is "town water" and filtered water tastes closer to bottled water. Some acclimatization may be required. I sometimes add alkaline drops to increase alkalinity. When I fill a glass or bottle with water, I notice that the numbers go from '08' to '14' to '50' and back to '14'. Not sure what the spikes indicate, except that the lower the number, the clearer the water. I believe these numbers are fairly accurate, but I have no way of verifying this. So in general I like the taste of water and use it in my coffee and also in my cat's drinking fountain for healthier water. Overall I am very happy with this system. Since the water comes straight from the tap, I don't have to worry about refilling. The best part is that I no longer have to buy bottled water. I like bottled water, but I don't like all the plastic that ends up piling up. Therefore, for me personally, removing this variable from my life and the world is a good step. This system works great as advertised and would recommend if you are looking for a filtration system. As I mentioned earlier about replacement filters I will be happy when the filters are available for purchase and it will be a very good and safe purchase.
