Review on Discover the Powerful Paasche Airbrush AEC Air Eraser Etching Tool for Precision Engraving by Linda Diaz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Have owned it for 40 years and still a happy user!

I am not a regular Revain customer because I bought my Paasche air eraser in 1975. I still have it and it still works pretty well. This is a good airbrush style sandblaster, obviously designed for light duty work with a lower pressure per square inch than heavy duty sanding guns. If you are interested in creating engraved glass designs on mirrors, engraving cups and mugs and the like, then this is a really good tool for that. "Bottle" is small, so it needs to be filled often. I've found it to be enough to easily complete small projects. You can adjust the amount of abrasive, to get good results, and only refill once or twice. Although not really designed for sand carving, it is actually strong enough to make very limited, very flat glass carvings with sand. I would recommend this little blaster to anyone, with the following advice: don't expect it to perform like a full size sandblaster. Don't try to use it for crushing rocks or making doors or other big projects. Paasche manufactures quality items that will last a long time if they are cared for properly. very shallow carvings on glass with sand. Do not try, use it for crushing rocks or crafting doors or other large projects.
