These things are bang on. Seriously, buying the ones you have to separate and stick all your fingers in accordion filters isn't that difficult, especially since there are more of them they seem each Year to get thinner.. This thing you just stick in there. It takes about 60 seconds instead of 10 minutes to try and separate the old style - just poke holes in the damn thing and get a tick after that. Best filter I am also not an HVAC expert but I think the filter is really good. I mean compared to the replacement filters I've bought over the last 15 years these are some of the best filters I've ever seen and the only ones that I will ever buy again.
