Old reliable. The only fixative I use because it doesn't require a toxic hardener. If you're worried about brand loyalty, don't worry. I use Ilford fixers with different brands of developers and stop baths. It is excellent. It takes a long time. I mix 200ml fixative with 800ml water to make a working film fix solution and use a liter at a time. I can usually develop at least 25 rolls of film before it gets silver inked. I use the Edwal Hypo-Check to determine when silver saturation has occurred. Thus, about 125 rolls of processed film are used per liter of Ilford Fast Fixer. Probably more to be honest.
