Original review: If it works then everything is fine. The power button allows you to stay connected to the PC while the drives are not in use. The power and data cables are long enough to work on my desk. The transfer speed varies between 107 KB/s and 30.1 MB/s. Hard drives can be swapped safely by disabling the dock. Hard drive connection problem. You can't see into the recessed, shaded area of black plastic, so guessing after the occasional mis-guess is required. The retractable Molex power connector does not snap, so choosing the right spacing is a matter of chance. It is still difficult to say when alignment will be achieved. Completely frustrating. Connecting a SATA drive is a bit easier, but it still takes longer than expected. I don't like working blind. 5-month update: Windows 10 took a long time to recognize it. I had to open the deep folder structure dozens of times (I used drives in both slots) hoping the files could be backed up. It kept crashing, disconnecting and making the file explorer windows disappear. Its use was annoying. The device was hardly used since I only do disk backups every 1-2 months. Rating downgraded from 3 to 1 star. Connections only took 30 seconds, so I had to work fast. Complete garbage. Unreliable. Poorly made. Not factory tested. Badly designed. Useless Chinese garbage that has no place in the computer world. Tecmbius made my life worse. I condemn the manufacturer Revain and the man who lied to describe it to customers as a functional, working product.
