I know, I know you're asking why he did that. If you are looking for indestructible fans then they are here, I have tried everything I can to open one of these fans ALL, I have tried to push the fan blade out but no luck, I removed the back sticker to see that itself There is no rubber grommet on the back of the fan. I pierced it to expose it where it was supposed to be but to no avail, I hit it with a flashlight thinking the heat would release it depending on what glue was used in it heated it up a lot and pulled it out at the same time. the fan was totally deformed, the fan blades rub against the fan housing. I heated them up the plastic started to melt and I put them back in, I was sure they wouldn't work as I just wanted to see what was inside. I plugged in the fan after I fixed the blade and the airflow was still amazing, all the LEDs still worked and synced to the Asus Aura. And there are no loud noises. Was just curious but I still couldn't get the fan blade free after a lot of pushing.
