Appearance of decent quality cable. Only the long use of a cable determines its quality and value. Since it replaces the broken cable that came with my phone, it will wear out over time. They look high quality and have a strain relief at the connector ends. The cable used to connect plug to plug is flexible but rigid and quite thin, suggesting a thin wire with a thin insulating sheath. A cable better suited for home use from a wall charger than being hauled and dropped in the car. Plugging the connector into the phone was reassuringly firm, and the USB side felt "right" too.
