cool for Samsung DeX

I bought this to use with Samsung DeX on my Galaxy S10e. I've used a Powerlaken 12-in-1 USB-C hub before and this model from YCE has (3) distinct advantages over it: the built-in phone stand is very handy and doubles as cable storage for travel, automatically switches to the audio output device a connected display (no longer have to manually select it every time I start DeX) and I can run DeX without charging my phone (overly) via the hub's PD port (I think the Powerlaken hub has too much power for the telephone). can you supply it yourself?), otherwise it has exactly the number and variety of ports I was looking for - no unused real estate on older USB 2.0 ports - although I do wish it had a USB type for data - a C Port. Build quality seems very good, but I wish the phone stand flap was metal instead of plastic. No major complaints though, especially considering the price. UPDATE after 1 week of use: The cord is an awkward length for phones when using a mount and the connector also needs to be twisted (and bent too) when plugging into your device. This seems to strain the connection in 2 axes, and the connector itself is quite a loose fit (compared to my Samsung and Anker USB-C cables), to the point where I sometimes get a warning on my phone, prompting me to check the charging connection. I'm also having inexplicable problems connecting to an Ethernet network. My cellular signal intermittently drops completely every few minutes and for some reason my messages aren't going through the Google Messages app. As soon as I unplug the ethernet cable, the message is sent and my cellular signal returns to a stable 5 bands. Very strange behavior, no idea why. In light of these revelations, I'm deducting 1 star from my rating. I would definitely buy it again, just to be clear, ethernet is not an obstacle for me on a hub like this, but I really wish the job of designing and making the braided cable could have been done better. For now I've looped the cable 270 degrees to effectively create a right angle connector and remove most of the strain.
