I decided I needed a different hub for my phone and tablet. I wanted one that could do more than just plug in USB. This has 5 different ports with 2 USB. I can use my SD cards, connect them via LAN and even via an HDMI cable. Connection cable to Type-C device, so either my Samsung Note or Surface will fit. I'm so glad I found this. I can easily transfer files, pictures and music from my phone to the Surface and back.

I bought this to use with Samsung DeX on my Galaxy S10e. I've used a Powerlaken 12-in-1 USB-C hub before and this model from YCE has (3) distinct advantages over it: the built-in phone stand is very handy and doubles as cable storage for travel, automatically switches to the audio output device a connected display (no longer have to manually select it every time I start DeX) and I can run DeX without charging my phone (overly) via the hub's PD port (I think the Powerlaken hub has too much power

It's lighter than I expected, but I don't think there's much in the case. I chose this one because I like that it also has a kickstand. One thing I want to investigate is that when using it as a Dex hub, there are certain apps that won't work because they are designed for touch controls etc. This includes a VNC viewer that I wanted to use in a remote desktop.

I bought two DeX docks, this one and Baseus. I'm very happy with Baseus, but it keeps losing connection. The cable going to the phone is so stiff I don't think it will hold a reliable connection. Unfortunately I threw away the packaging and cannot return it.
