This is a great foam gun for cleaning around the home. It was designed for car washing, but you can also use it for other cleaning jobs outside of your home. This is not a foam gun. This is a foam gun for people who don't use a pressure washer. I do not recommend using pressure washers for car washes. High water pressure can damage seals, exterior lights and plastic trim. Because of this philosophy, I only use a regular water hose to wash my cars. That means I can't use the foam cannon. I can only use the foam gun. The product that is the subject of this review is a foam gun. The foam gun does not produce as much foam as the foam gun. However, I don't see a problem with that. More foam does not mean better cleaning. It just means more foam. Speaking of which, please don't judge the effectiveness of a car shampoo by the amount of foam it produces. This foam gun is very easy to use. It includes a quick release mount at the end of the pistol grip. The handle and most parts are plastic, but there's metal in critical parts. You can adjust the dilution rate according to your needs. Use R/O water or distilled water to dilute your car shampoo for best results. Have you noticed how much better detergents and soaps work in soft water? The same principles apply here. Make sure the bottle is securely attached to the pistol grip before depressing this lever. Otherwise the bottle will go off like a rocket and hit your car. This is more likely if the bottle is only partially filled. Highly recommended. Run some clean water after each use to prevent nozzle clogging. Keep the bottle empty. You can purchase a quick connector on the end of your garden hose to make it easier to disconnect the entire set from the hose. This is a great product that would have gotten five stars if it weren't for the price. I think the price is a bit high for such a product.
