My Inspiron 15's screen broke when I dropped it on the floor. I called a few people and the minimum I could find to fix it was $150. After watching a few videos online, I took the risk of doing it myself. I've never done this before; so I didn't give it much thought. I took the old screen and plugged it back in to be sure I could order a new one. Also check the product ID and part number on the old screen. The new one arrived in about a week, packaged decently to avoid damage in transit. Removes and repairs on a laptop in 15 minutes. Very easy and the amount of work is not worth spending 150€, I would advise anyone who dares to do it themselves. The screen worked without any problems and I don't see any difference between the new and the old. Car!
