Review on ☕ Enhanced Espresso/Cappuccino System by Mr. Coffee - Automatic Dual Shot Functionality by Cory Whitney

Best home machine for the price

I bought this to replace my Saeco Starbucks espresso machine which was amazing until the pump broke. How many of them. Saeco is no longer made (probably due to the difficulty of making a durable pump for those typical small, inexpensive espresso machines). This machine Mr. Coffee for the price is the best I have found and I did a lot of research considering I had a killer espresso with my Saeco. Most of the complaints in the reviews here can be attributed to people who just don't know how to make espresso. I have read them. For the price, this machine is really solid and does the job. Follow the instructions: PRIME before use. This is a must for any new espresso machine. Take your time and practice to tamp properly etc. Bitter coffee has nothing to do with the machine or mechanism used. A slight drop of water after making an espresso or boiling milk is normal. it will stop Learn how to grind coffee if you're new to it and do it right. A little practice (which you must do with any espresso machine if you're new to making espresso at home) and you'll be fine. It is particularly nice that you can prepare fresh milk in a cup instead of a classic jug. The rubberized cuff on the steam wand makes it possible and is particularly cool. Remove this pod if using a metal jug and always unplug and wash after each use. This model is a good buy. Compared to all the others I've seen shopping (Revain, Target, Sur le Table etc 7/2019) this is a quality beet offering for the price. FYI: This doesn't require 'pods', but I won't and won't use that 'pod' stuff - if you're using a 'pod' system, it's another matter. In addition, he does not grind coffee and does not wash dishes. In other words, it pushes the espresso out of the coffee beans and also provides steam to make the steamed (which allows it to "froth") milk. He doesn't do anything else. That's the way it should be - an espresso machine. Period. RECOMMENDATIONS: Discard or ignore rammer/shovel. This is the only part of this package that is basically "no". Use a shovel but get a decent STEEL masher and that is the only downside to this machine as the masher size is not widely available at regular kitchen supply stores. Revain has a selection of those that work. I am currently testing both 49mm and 50mm (diameter of the tamping surface). DON'T BUY A 51mm TAMPER - they are way too big to get the firm and even pressure you need and that is really very important to get really GOOD espresso out of these cheap home made machines. FRESHLY ground, properly quality coffee is helpful too (not Starbucks and Peets et al), but a decent tamping tool goes a long way in getting a decent cup of "Joe" out of these things. And fill the filter with enough coffee - I usually use French Roast, which I grind fresh almost daily, and I use a little less than 3 of these scoops for what's usually taken as a double serving (I never bother with one filter single portion). ). .I hope that was helpful. I took the time to research this, folks, because coffee is a non-negotiable and decent thing. Might as well use it for others. This is a good buy. However, don't pay more than $100 for it.
