I wanted a mantel clock because I always check the time in the living room. I had a large wall clock that is dead and my habit of looking at it is not broken. I've tried other watches that didn't work when they arrived. I found these and they match the decor and show the exact time at the moment. I only had it a few weeks. I can recommend this watch and the company. I received a handwritten thank you card from them. This additional answer was a welcome gesture.
