I bought this because my cat kept urinating over the edge of our traditional box. After several hours of searching for the perfect box, I settled on this one. Unfortunately, I noticed right after the first use that it is not 100% leak-proof, because even though my cat peed on the back, the urine somehow still leaked through the seam. Frustrated, we settled in and bought toiletry bags, which seemed to help. Our little cat is doing great with this box. She is a messy toilet user and even though he keeps most of the trash in a box, she still leaves him on the floor. Overall, this box is still better than the traditional one and that's why I give it 4 stars. But if you have a cat that pees high, don't waste your money! Our cat somehow managed to urinate over the top edge of the tallest side! So let's try the top entry for the pissing Houdini.
