Not compatible with existing 3/8-24 ports.

This is a kind of metric thread. No American carving. It grips instantly when the nuts are inserted into an existing 3/8-24 tee. I knew something was wrong when I couldn't find a 3/8" wrench for these nuts, just like the originals.
