Review on 🍳 Cuisinart TPS-10 10-Piece Classic Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Cookware Set, Silver, PC by Dawn Bunger

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor design, not worth the money

I've had these pans for a few months now. To be honest they suck. Here are my reasons for not doing so: 1. Both the lid and handles get very hot on low to medium heat. I have to use a hot stand to cook with them. For the first week I had them I thought they would work like my old pans and when I lifted the lid I burned my fingers. No, my cheap old pans had better lids.2. The handles are very slippery. So if you try to pour the water out or knock the pot over in any way, you'll have to use a death grip or gauntlet. The handles are very round, thin and have no grip. They are very poorly designed to grab. They are way more disappointing than I thought they would be.3. They are the opposite of non-sticky. I watched videos about cooking with stainless steel. I tried lubricating the pans with different oils, but nothing improved the situation. Tried to add more oil, no. I tried different heat levels but it made no difference. When I cook eggs or anything else that might stick, it will definitely stick to these pans. Because of this, they're also a bit of a hassle to clean if something gets stuck to them. Pots are lighter than pans, but ultimately not a great experience. I know these aren't professional steel pans, but I think I can get halfway decent ones for a few hundred bucks. I'll give them a point in this rating, they seem to cook fairly evenly. That's the only positive and that's why I gave them two stars.
