Review on Flood Water Detector Sounds Alarm by Darius Carraway

I bought these and when I received them I thought they were a great idea. I tested them when I hung them around the house but I tested them today and two out of three don't work so assuming the built in batteries are dead (below says they will be replaced after 4/2016 for only 2 years have to). shorter life, close enough? NO!). They are also not loud enough when placed under a dressing table. I have purchased a Zircon 63931 electronic water detector with leak alarm batteries, 3 packs (actually bought three packs of 3) and they run on 9 volt batteries and are very noisy. Yes, they're bigger and not as "cute" as the Flood Buzz, but I prefer functionality to cute every day. I have sent a message to the seller and was asked to contact the manufacturer which cannot be found. Pay a little more and get a Zircon and change the battery to 9 volts instead of throwing away the Flood Buzted after 6 months (and who knows how long they've been dead). UPDATE --- I found the manufacturer, [.], and they're sending a replacement which is great, but I've lost confidence in the product so if you buy these, check back often. (Moved from 1 star to 2 stars due to manufacturer change)
