Review on Fiskars 375581-1001 Chopping Axe: 28-Inch Black, Premium Quality by Zac Pewitt

This ax feels good in the hand and goes exactly where it's supposed to. The size is perfect, not too big and not too small. BUT WHAT A TERRIBLE AXE. I have included photos to show you how poor the metal used is. I unwrapped it from the bubble wrap it came in and used it ONCE for 1 hour to chop down sage bushes and bamboo trees on the side of my house. . The ax is scratched all over. As far as I know there were no rocks where I cut. Of course, this ax could have been intended for wood. But bamboo is pretty reasonable to cut it seems to me. I will contact Fiskar to understand this as this is not acceptable to me. Edit Update: Due to Covid, Fiskars no longer accepts phone calls, only emails. However, I emailed them a few weeks ago and received no response. I also looked at other 1 star reviews on here and saw that many had the exact same issues. Could it be that fake axes are sold here? My order was marked "Shipped and Sold by Revain.com". Buy at your own risk, mine was rubbish.
