I bought this unit second hand. I wanted to know the humidity levels in my house, and I was also curious as to how accurate my thermostats were, since the temperature they reported would drop out occasionally. They proved very accurate which means it's good too as it consistently registers temperatures within 1/10th of a degree from my thermostats. It's small, maybe too small for some people, but that wasn't a problem for me. There is also a clock that I forgot to set at first and then threw away the instruction manual. So we recommend you to set the clock first, it's not that hard to understand but it will save you some frustration.
