Very similar to OEM. Something else. Just installed and tested not long ago. The expansion of the old is NONE here in the north. Rent a front-end service kit from an auto parts store. They usually charge you a fee and then refund you in full when you return it. rental tools. When you're about to remove the old traction, I'll jack up the front axle and take off the front wheels. I loosened the tie rod bolts on the hub and bipod. I made the mistake of pulling the tie rod out before fully unscrewing the nut. I suggest loosening the nut completely. Then tighten it slightly so that it doesn't fall on your face when you pull it out. I pulled it out of the hole before doing that and couldn't get the nut all the way out. The shaft turned only with the nut. I had to cut the boot off and grind the shank to secure it with a vise so I could get the nut all the way out. Installation was easy. Put the new one next to the old one and measured close to the old one. Installed it with some anti-seize coating on the threads and torqued the tie rod bolt to 77 ft lbs. Hub pull up to 63 ft-lbs and puller clutch up to 26 ft-lbs. ride it. If your steering is disabled, loosen the clamp and turn the entire clamp clockwise or counterclockwise depending on which direction you want the steering wheel to turn. I deviated about 15 degrees and had to do half a turn to get it almost perfectly aligned. Not sure if the other review didn't talk about lifted jeeps. Anything over 2.5" I would look for something more powerful than a flip kit for 4" lifters.
