High expectations, damaged unit
Was going to install this turbine to try to offset my electrical use during peak hours. However when it arrived in the blades were partially damaged and without all the fastener hardware. I promptly returned it.Beyond the missing pieces and damaged blades the turbine itself seemed heavy duty made out of cast aluminum.I did note that the bolt pattern on the bottom was 4x 4.5” diameter. Finding a proper way to mount to the top of a pole would probably be the hardest part of the project.
