Buy a good quality Displayport cable. Suppose he is old and bad
G-Sync is now compatible but will not work properly with the included Displayport cable. Buy a newer quality screen without the 20th pin (power). Others notice bad colors and other issues with the included DP cable. This screen is one of the best for gaming at 1080p 144Hz. Excellent response time, input lag, no ghosting. This is a TN panel, don't expect VA or IPS quality when watching video content, it's perfect for fast paced games like first person shooters. I have a little bit of highlighting, but it's not noticeable in games. Colors are quite decent, better than most TNs, the extra gamma adjustments help a lot.
