This monitor wasn't bad for the price considering it supports 1080p 144Hz resolution which I think will be enough for a novice gamer like me. The only thing I don't like about this monitor is that darker colors like black appear a bit greyish but overall the transition from 60Hz to 144Hz was amazing and I don't regret this purchase.

The screen is constantly updating, switching between modes and even clearing itself as a device when you turn it off, cluttering the desktop from time to time. Speaking of turning it off, the power button literally fell out after 2 years of use. DO NOT lose the insert or a fallen button that would be unusable.
