IPS monitors are so bright and blurry it will make your eyes bleed. It's more like a flashlight in your eyes than a monitor. This monitor wasn't bad for the price considering it supports 1080p 144Hz resolution which I think will be enough for a novice gamer like me. The screen is constantly updating, switching between modes and even clearing itself as a device when you turn it off, cluttering the desktop from time to time. Speaking of turning it off, the power button literally fell out after 2 years of use. DO NOT lose the insert or a fallen button that would be unusable. I use tape to hold it in place and I can wrap the rest to make sure I don't lose anything.

For the price this is a great monitor. My only complaint is that I spent too much time trying to figure out why it wasn't working when I first connected it to my PC. to solve the problem. When I was finally able to use the monitor, everything was fine from that point on.

I bought this monitor (Viewsonic XG2402) to be able to play PC games and wow so far it's a beast! It comes with a DP to PC cable but also has 2 HDMIs, one of which I connect to my PS4. I didn't know how much I missed it! For 10 days this thing has exceeded my expectations. It's built like a tank. Its base is very heavy and the ability to assemble it without tools is welcome, along with the included cable management ring and integrated headphone holder on the back! I hope it stays this nice!

I bought this monitor as an extra monitor for streaming. It came in a product box with a shipping label attached to the outside. The monitor comes disassembled in a box, but can be quickly assembled or screwed together. This monitor feels pretty solid, has a metal base and is quite heavy compared to other monitors I've tried. Excellent quality 144hz gaming monitor, delivered safe and sound. Prior to this monitor I had an ASUS 60hz 1080p monitor and as soon as I switched to this monitor I felt an insane difference in picture quality and refresh rate. Because this monitor supports AMD FreeSync, it works great with my GPU (Gigabyte 5700XT). If I ever think about setting up a dueling monitor, I plan on installing the same monitor instead of another at my level.
