Amazing response time. I prefer TN IPS, also have a 1440p 144Hz monitor and got it as an "upgrade". Crazy? Listen to me. The IPS panel and all IPS I had had IPS glow. Basically, dark scenes turn the corners of the screen into an annoying bluish glowing light. Also, don't fall for 1ms marketing ads. IPS might be 144Hz, but it still has pretty bad smearing and blurring when things are moving fast. This is because the claimed response time is nowhere near the actual one. This bad boy handles moves and fast movements like a champ and everything is very crisp and clear. Another thing to note is the 1080p resolution. A bit low in 2021 but at such ridiculous GPU prices I consider this good news as it means my Vega 56 will be around for at least a little longer! It should be noted that the image must be calibrated. Everything looks very blurry out of the box. Turn the black EQ setting down and maybe crank the gamma up to 2.4 or 2.6 and everything will look great. Overall I love this monitor and regret spending money on my 1440p 144Hz IPS screen.
