If you've seen YouTubers disassemble these things, you know K&N makes a good quality oil filter. The right spring that keeps the filter filled when the engine is off. excellent number of media and above all excellent flow rates. Of course there are better ones on the market, but you will pay for them. For me this is the golden mean. I use K&N oil filters on all my cars. If you don't want to change your oil yourself, buy one and take it to your oil changer and ask them to use it. They also have to give you credit for the oil filter they don't use. I like to write the date on mine to make sure they actually change it. I've just seen too many stories about filter reuse.
