Turns out they don't have micron efficiency data, but have been told they're designed to meet or exceed OEM specs. Not to say that this is a bad filter, but such information is important to me. K&N not only outperforms most other brands, but this oil filter with built in 1" nut fits perfectly in my 2000 Corvette. I'll thank you if you don't have to wrestle with an oil filter wrench for your filter ramp (which feels like it's back almost half the entire length of the car!). The 1" socket on the drive is all you need to easily remove and swap out this filter, and trust me, it's worth it! So you get a great filter that is easy to remove and install! A win!

I have used K&N filters on many vehicles for years. I've never had some of the problems that people complained about (oil leaking out of the top nut, etc.). I noticed that this filter was made in Korea. I usually get "Made in Mexico" or the country it was made in, which turned out to be Korea. Although I don't know if I'm disappointed or not.
