Same K&N features as always

I have used K&N filters on many vehicles for years. I've never had some of the problems that people complained about (oil leaking out of the top nut, etc.). I noticed that this filter was made in Korea. I usually get "Made in Mexico" or the country it was made in, which turned out to be Korea. Although I don't know if I'm disappointed or not. I mean the K&N filter is a K&N filter but I always thought it was an American made product. On the other hand, these filters were $2.50 cheaper here (Prime) than at my major auto parts store. I like the 1" end nut on the filter. This makes filter removal simple and easy. The filter itself has about 52 filler pleats inside with metal plugs on each end. Personally I'd like to see about 60 or more pleats there, but the material is something thicker than most other filters so I think it can make up for the missing wrinkles. Bottom line, K&N filters work. I have fitted them to many cars, thousands of people have fitted them to their cars too. Yes, a bit pricey , but the comfort of the upper mother?PRICESLESS.
