This cable is like a bridge to another world...but not without some bumps.
The MORELECS Mini DisplayPort To HDMI Cable promises to seamlessly connect your MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Mini, Microsoft Surface Pro 3/4, and other devices to an HDMI display. While it does the job, there were a few hiccups in the process. Firstly, the cable is a bit on the shorter side at six feet. This may not be an issue for everyone, but if you need a bit more length, you might want to consider a different cable. Secondly, the connection wasn't always stable. Occasionally, I would have to replug the cable in order for the display to recognize my device. This was a bit frustrating, but it didn't happen too frequently. Overall, while this cable isn't perfect, it does get the job done at an affordable price. Just be prepared for a few bumps in the road.
- So far so good. New laptop didn’t have HDMI port so I needed this. Would buy again!
- Limited device compatibility - While this cable may work with MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Mini, and Microsoft Surface Pro 3/4, it may not be compatible with all devices on the market. This could be a drawback for consumers who own devices that are not compatible with the cable
