Bird love good for cages and accessories

I replaced the coconut shell house with this one. The bird was found to be chewing on the inside of the shell. It's big but my canary has a parrot cage so it doesn't take up too much space. At first he avoided her and stayed on the other side of the cage. I ended up taking a small piece of paper towel with some seeds as a treat, put it in the hammock and hung the disco ball on the outside of the cage next to the other hole. He was lured, he liked to play the ball through the bars and take naps. After that he uses it all the time upstairs and indoors. It's plush on top and inside, which he seems to enjoy, but he also plays with it and tries to eat it. I was able to stop him when I caught him. The material seems to be peeling off and nothing is sticking to it, but it takes a little more effort.
