Review on 🚲 Retro 1999 BMX Brake Set & Lever: Perfect Vintage Upgrade for BMX Enthusiasts by Demetrius Patsion

The brake block is perfect for the Strider 14X US balance but the lever clamp actually broke in two when installing, the cable was too long so I cut the tube and the had to cut the cable. Even the lever was broken in two, I used a grinder to smooth the cracked hole, so after screwing it in with a flat rubber band, it still works, but later I found that the lever and the handle are too far apart so I decided to buy another lever on Amazon because I think this one is for adults only. The reason I broke the lever is I was trying to widen the hole because the handle can't fall off. And then it split in two. Other than that the brake works just perfect and I just need to buy a lever that fits a 6 year old. Oh yes, one thing is very important, you must come with an installation guide, it took me a while to figure out what I was missing. As the lever is quite easy to break and there is no manual control, I am therefore happy to rate it 3.5 stars or 4.5 if the lever is not broken. But otherwise very good quality!
