I purchased this product because I needed a very long reach caliper kit for a 20" Electra Mini Rod kids bike. I measured the required range as 85mm from the center of the mounting hole to the center of the rim edge. This caliper fits with the pads all the way down into the mounting slots, so I am surprised at the manufacturer's specification of a maximum range of 95mm. My 5 year old rides a Specialized HotRock bike with only a foot brake. Our typical walk into the city center has several busy intersections where we have to get off the bike path rather than the crosswalk. The brake block is perfect for the Strider 14X US balance but the lever clamp actually broke in two when installing, the cable was too long so I cut the tube and the had to cut the cable. These are excellent quality brakes. The kit includes both front and rear mount hardware. The longer bolt goes through the fork and the shorter one is best for the rear cross member. I installed them on a 16" Specialized Hotrock. The cable will need to be trimmed for your application.
