While it's not a very good wheel wrench, it gets the job done. I bought it because I wanted something very compact to use in our car as an extra wrench for roadside emergencies, and its ability to increase and increase torque makes it easy for my wife to loosen frozen nuts. Use the right torque wrench when I'm at home for several reasons: This open-end wrench is a bit slow and clumsy to use. Rotated at an angle, you can install it even on wheels with deep plates, but such a tilt will not allow you to rotate correctly and consistently. It's an inexpensive tool to keep in the car, but anyone who works on their own car at home will still want to use power tools, a pry bar, and/or a torque wrench.
