I am very happy with my Pitbull lock, no bike lock protects against theft, if someone really wants your bike they will most likely get it. That being said, most successful people who see it properly installed on their bike will likely move on. The average thief is lazy and not particularly smart otherwise they wouldn't be thieves, looking at all that hardened steel is intimidating and looks like too much work and he'd better have plenty of time and some good tools. My wife and I park our bikes on racks provided by the condominium association and cover them with good quality covers. There was evidence someone lifted the ceiling to check but kept walking. These things are heavy so not the best lock to ride, but if you want to protect your bike this will work better than most. seen.
