Finally got my old laptop back with a broken Wi-Fi chip. Now I can even connect to the 5G network. I was tempted to get one with a smaller profile but didn't want to sacrifice speed or end up paying double or more. Looks beautiful and stylish, not expensive and inexpensive. But the crazy blue LED flickering that other reviewers have mentioned is really distracting. But that's okay, and I'll probably get used to it. I can't speak to the range this thing offers, but I don't particularly care. Right now the router is in two rooms (maybe 40-50 feet?) with a wall as the obstruction and I have 4 bars out of 5. But I have a powerful router that I can connect to most of the time from the outside. I definitely recommend this little cube. I'll probably use this on my other laptop too. And I'm planning to get a desktop computer soon, and now it seems to me that instead of Ethernet, a wireless connection can be used.
