Review on Ratchets Suitable Electric Maintenance Improvement by Marco Mooney

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not intended for heavy use and do not contain header bit sizes.

Not a bad set. Of course, these aren't your branded instruments, and that's really a testament to the quality. The whole thing is 1/4" drive and includes flat metric sockets as well as a couple of torque bits and hex sockets. Also included are a couple of flat head and large Phillips sockets with a flexible spring stock extension that isn't that good, and a wrench that doubles as an extension, which is nice. 1/4" quick release ratchets are good, but not the best. I think it could be 72 teeth. All the bit sockets on the sides just indicate the size of the disk that the bit size should be, so I don't like how they did it. The bit size is marked on the bit itself. The grid markings, which are usually on the bottom of the sockets so you know they're metric, are centered on the sockets, which looks bad to me. Case is fine too. I mean this set won't last long because bits don't usually last long. I'll see how this set holds up over time and it's doing a great job at the moment. Not bad for the price. It's just something that's definitely not suited for industrial use or even auto mechanics. It will help you and get you out of traffic jams when needed. If you're looking for tools that will last a lifetime, look elsewhere, but if you're just looking for something to have in your tool box at home then this is fine.
