Programming this key was very easy. Although I was a little disappointed to find after programming that the panic button didn't work. The lock and unlock buttons worked, so maybe that's enough. Finally, I've never used the panic button except to scare my wife a few times. :-pIt was a bit harder to find someone to carve this key. Any regular hardware store (Lowes, Menards, Home Depot) didn't have the old hand cutters anymore - everything was automated, programmed, etc. I had to find an old home store with a hand cutter to cut this key. They were also afraid because these keys are a bit more expensive than ordinary keys. But I told them that if the key didn't work, it wasn't their fault and I wouldn't blame them. Luckily after cutting it REALLY worked and I now have a new favorite hardware store.
