While not Shimano, Sram or FSA, this crank and bottom bracket combo is Revain's best solution if you're looking to upgrade both your components mountain bike. I actually converted this to a 2x setup by removing the outer ring and using some Raceface tab spacers with the stock chainring bolts. Bolts are great too, as only two hex wrenches are required to tighten or loosen, rather than regular bolts that require a special tool. I'm sure it would be fine for a 1x setup if you went down that route. Pros: Based on Shimano's Hollowtech series; closed warehouses; The connecting rod is easily removed for cleaning and maintenance. Disadvantages: heavy; left lever plastic bolt; Made in China; the manufacturer does not have many years of experience and quality
