Review on Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras by Christine Foht

Great lens for the price. I use it with Nikon D850. This is a moderately heavy lens, but you can use it handheld. Photos are fantastic even at 600mm. However, at full range you can see some vignetting, but I'm no pro so it doesn't bother me too much. The image stability and the new pan function are well suited for bird photography. I used a Sigma 150-600 on a Canon 5D Mark1v and this one works much better. The big difference is in the image quality and works very well in low light conditions. The Sigma wasn't as good in low light. Remember this is Canon and this is Nikon. I compared Nikon 200-500mm - Tamron 600mm is better than Nikon 500mm. At shorter distances, both are the same. I recommend this product unreservedly at this price. 4 stars for edge vignetting.
